Privacy Policy

When you sign in with GitHub, Flux stores account information needed to keep your session and profile working.

• Your GitHub username, GitHub ID, avatar, public profile URL, and public bio when available.
• Your email address from GitHub when GitHub provides it for your account.
• Public repository, issue, pull request, review, and contribution metadata used by Flux features.
• Repository notes, watched repositories, feedback you submit, settings, notifications, and portfolio highlights you choose inside Flux.

Flux uses your GitHub and account data to provide the product you signed in to use: dashboard surfaces, repository tracking, opportunity matching, notifications, portfolio generation, and contribution insights.

• GitHub data helps generate profile summaries, contribution metrics, public portfolio sections, and repository context.
• Account data keeps you logged in, routes notifications, and connects dashboard records to your user profile.
• Feedback data helps us understand what is working, what is confusing, and what should improve.

Flux stores application data in its database and protects access with authenticated sessions, access controls, and server-side checks. Session tokens are stored in cookies so the frontend can stay connected to the backend session.

If you delete your account, Flux removes account-linked records that are no longer needed for the product to function. Some anonymized operational records may be kept when needed to protect the service, debug abuse, or preserve aggregate reliability information.

Flux uses a small set of third-party services because the product depends on authentication, repository data, email delivery, storage, and generated summaries.

• GitHub for OAuth sign-in and public repository/contribution data.
• Supabase/Postgres-compatible storage for application data.
• Gmail SMTP through Nodemailer for emails such as notifications and feedback delivery.
• Groq/OpenAI-compatible model access for generated portfolio summaries when the generation key is configured.

You can control important parts of your Flux account from the dashboard. You can update settings, remove watched repositories, change notification preferences, choose portfolio highlights, and delete your account from Settings -> Account.

Feedback sharing is opt-in. If you allow feedback to be shared publicly, Flux may show it as public feedback. If you do not allow it, it stays private.
